When you have played
your match simply email the result to
john.burnett@cambridgetele.com
The date shown for each match is
the last day on which the match must be played. Some pairs will find that
because there were not enough entries at their nominated Club they will be
playing qualifying rounds at another one. We have tried to make the choice as
convenient as possible.
What
Is The Match Format ? Every match is one set, first to 9 games off
handicap, using the up-to-date handicaps on the day of the match available from
the T&RA Handicap Calculator. The Calculator will describe the actual
Handicap to be used. If either pair fall 3 or more games behind the
other, they may change Receiver at the beginning of a new game if they are at
the Hazard end. This may only be exercised once in the match by each pair.
Example - Pair A are at the Hazard end and have just lost the game to go 1-4
down. They can switch receiver. Pair B then lose the next 6 games to go 4-7
down but are at the Service end. However, at the end of the next game, which
they also lose to go 4-8 down they are at the Hazard end so they can elect to
change Receiver.
Prizes:
Division Winners will each receive a T&RA
Centenary Edition Extratec Racket. Trophies and other prizes for Runners Up and
Semi-Finalists.
